About Paul Hood

Paul Hood was born in Hampshire, England in 1971. He left school at 16 to train as a welder fabricator. At 17 he moved to the west coast of Ireland to learn the art of wood carving, wood turning & carpentry.

Paul returned to England in 2001 and set up his own workshop & artist studio in the East End of London. His main trade being hands-on room design & fit out for homes & workplaces.

In 2018 Paul was commissioned to design a series of bespoke copper lamps for The Nest Creative Workspace near Tower Bridge, London. Each design hand fabricated by Paul, many using reclaimed and upcycled materials.

Paul has now gone on to design and create many different items, many that can be seen on this site, each design a bespoke one off.
